I participated as a Judge at the SME Boutique Women’s Exclusive Club (SWEC). The invitation was extended to me based on my exceptional advisory track records which was believed to be instrumental in the decision making process.
The pitch was given by each of the 15 participants in the programme. All of them were judged based on certain factors, including all that they had been taught in the three months of the incubator programme.
The Start-Up Incubator programme is a three-month coaching and practical session aimed to attract female entrepreneurs with change ideas; transforming local communities on different scale with diverse focus areas, and equipping them with the relevant marketing and entrepreneurial skills needed to expand their business. Only 15 candidates were selected into the programme per cohort. The modules and classes were structured and tutored by trusted and successful A-list consultants, investors and business professionals. Outstanding participants had an opportunity to access finance for their enterprise through the support of Addosser Microfinance Bank.
