It was an amazing experience to facilitate alongside LEAP Africa’s team on the transformative leadership program training for Teacher Mentors held at the United States International University – Africa, Nairobi, Kenya.
The Transformative Leadership Program (TLP) is a leadership development programme for Teacher Mentors (TMs) in the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. The overall goal of the programme was to equip TMs with the knowledge, confidence and skills required to model leadership and effectively facilitate the leadership development of the Scholars.
The project had over 1300 Teacher Mentors in attendance from different counties across Kenya, 12 facilitators, 6 classes running simultaneously with just one message of transformative leadership.
